About me

My name is Niklas Berglöf and I love music.

Music has inspired me to do all sorts of stuff in life. For example, travel thousands of miles yearly in random buses, cars and trains, buy a studio for a heaps of money, become homeless, move from the bustling capital Stockholm to the suburbs of Norrköping, get lost in Russia and countless more.

It all started when I was a teenager and played in various sloppy bands in my hometown Åkersberga. Fairly quickly my whole life revolved around music and I would lay sleepless at night imagining how I could produce the perfect record. I listened to music incalculable hours each day and marveled at what made some songs so amazing.

Not much has changed since, other than gradually improving my own skills to be able to make that perfect record. I believe music is about emotions and expressions. Heavy metal does not lie in the distorted electric guitar and wicked vocals, punk does not dwell in pounding drums and rubbish guitars, techno does not exist in impressive base and repetitive structures.

It’s all about the attitudes and feelings that you want to convey. Techno can be punk, punk can be hard rock and hard rock can be techno.
